      BGS Bumper Guard (Radiant)

      What is a slab guard? arrow icon arrow icon

      A slab guard, also called a bumper guard or slab protector, is a silicone protective shell that snaps onto the outside of a graded trading card slab. It sits around the perimeter of the case to help absorb everyday impacts, cushion the corners, and lift the slab off flat surfaces, making the front plastic less likely to make direct contact.

      Slab guards are a common way collectors protect PSA, CGC, BGS, and TAG slabs from everyday wear while complementing the card's look.
      How does a slab guard protect my slab? arrow icon arrow icon

      Guards add cushioning against everyday impacts and edge pressure. They help reduce surface scratches and corner wear caused by regular handling, stacking, bumps, and drops. For additional protection during storage and transport, pair your guard with a rigid slab vault.
      Are slab guards reusable, and do they leave residue? arrow icon arrow icon

      Yes. Our slab guards are designed to be removed and reused. The silicone comes off without leaving residue on the slab, so you can swap colors, move a guard to a different slab, or reconfigure your display, similar to switching a phone case.
      How do you put a slab guard on a graded slab? arrow icon arrow icon

      Fit the guard over the edges of your slab the same way you would fit a phone case. Align the front of the guard with the front of the slab, then work the silicone around the perimeter until each corner snaps into place and the guard sits flush.
