FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I look for in a trading card binder?

Choose a binder that fits your cards and how you protect them. Check the pocket dimensions, and total capacity to see how it can best help grow your collection.

Card binders are designed for sleeved singles, while toploader binders accommodate cards kept in toploaders.

What is the difference between Z-series and Y-series binders?

Z-series binders are designed for raw and sleeved cards. The Y-series is designed for cards in toploaders, with larger pockets.

Will Dragonscale card binders (Z-Series) fit sleeved or double-sleeved cards?

Our Z-series binder can hold single-sleeved cards, depending on the sleeve’s size and thickness.

Larger sleeves and double-sleeved setups may fit more tightly. Compare your sleeves with the listed 7.5 x 10 cm pocket dimensions, and avoid forcing a card into a pocket to prevent damage.

Can I add, remove, or rearrange the binder pages?

No. All Dragon Binders are ringless with permanently attached pages. You can move cards between pockets, but the pages themselves cannot be rearranged or expanded.

Leaving gaps for missing cards can make an ongoing set easier to organize.

Should I sleeve cards before putting them in a binder?

We recommend using sleeves that fit comfortably inside the pockets. Sleeves add another layer of protection when inserting or removing cards.

For toploader binders, you can sleeve the card before placing it in a compatible toploader, then insert the toploader into the binder.
