Calling All Collectors!

As the year comes to a close, we want to thank everyone who has supported Dragonscale and made our products part of your collection.

Whether you've been with us since the beginning or recently discovered Dragonscale, we're grateful to have you along for the journey.

We've been listening closely to your feedback, from requests for more vibrant colors and stackable guards to a more complete front-and-back slab protection.

We're always exploring new ways to improve how you protect and display your prized collection.

As we look ahead to 2027, we're excited to share what's next.

Introducing CRYSTAL Guards!

First up, we’re excited to announce a new addition to our Guard designs, CRYSTAL.

Our CRYSTAL guards feature a glossier material designed to reflect more light and bring out a richer, vibrant color to match your slabs. With improved color saturation and more visible sparkles, we're excited to give collectors a new way to make their favorite cards stand out.

The new material also helps us address some of the color challenges we've encountered with our existing designs, particularly with certain colors that appear duller than intended.

CRYSTAL Guards will follow the same structure as our original Guards, offering full edge protection, a lightweight and durable design, and easy application and removal.

As for colors, we’ll bring some of your favorites to the CRYSTAL lineup, including Midnight, Aqua, Corruption, and more.

Crystal-Exclusive Colors

We’ll also be introducing new CRYSTAL-exclusive colors designed to make the most of the new glossy finish.

Here’s a sneak-peek look at CRYSTAL MAELSTROM, our first CRYSTAL-exclusive colorway featuring a 4-color design inspired by Mega Rayquaza from Delta Reign.

Now with these improvements, you might be wondering whether CRYSTAL Guards will come with a higher price tag?

The answer is no.

We're planning to price our CRYSTAL Guards at the same level as our existing MYTHIC lineup. We want collectors to enjoy the improved color and sparkles without paying a higher premium for the new material design.

Our CRYSTAL Guards are still in development, and we’ll be taking our time to make sure they’re fully collector-ready before release. But stay tuned, they might arrive sooner than you think!

Slab Protection to the MAX!

We've heard feedback from collectors, and one of the biggest requests we've received is for a more complete slab protection.

While our original guards do a great job protecting the edges of your slabs, we know collectors have been looking for something that goes a step further.

That's why we're excited to introduce MAX Guards, a redesigned slab guard built to offer a more complete front-and-back protection for your graded cards, while keeping the colorful style you know and love from Dragonscale.

Our MAX Guards will feature front and back covers, creating a complete enclosure that helps protect your slab from all sides, similar to our Wyrmslate display frames, but with a lighter and more compact design.

Here’s an early demonstration of MAX Guards in action! The product is still in development, and its design and features may change as we continue refining it.

With MAX Guards, we hope to offer collectors a premium way to protect and showcase the grails they treasure most.

And don't worry, our original Guards aren't going anywhere! MAX Guards are simply another option for collectors who want to take their slab protection a step further.

MAX Guards are still in design and development. We're working to get every detail right, from fit to the overall look and feel.

Stay tuned for more updates as we bring MAX Guards to life!

Gradient Guards: Making Room Ahead

Over time, we've noticed demand for Gradient Guards has gradually slowed as collectors move toward the more vibrant Radiant and Mythic colors. With so many colors to build and support, we’ve decided to simplify our Gradient lineup for next year.

But don't worry, Gradient Guards aren't going away entirely. We know that not every collector is looking for bright colors or a sparkle finish for their slabs.

Sometimes, you just want a simple and affordable way to protect your slabs while adding a touch of color, whether it's for matching themes or color-coding your collection.

So we'll be keeping a selection of our most popular Gradient colors, including Midnight, Blaze, Aqua, and a few other favorites, while gradually discontinuing the rest.

To give everyone a chance to pick up their favorite Gradient colors before they're gone, we're offering 50% OFF all Gradient Guards until the end of 2026!

Once our discontinued colors sell out, they won't be restocked, so be sure to grab your favorites while they're still available.

As we soon move into a new year of collecting, we'll continue finding new ways to protect and personalize your favorite cards. So whether you're just starting out or you're already a seasoned collector, we want everyone to enjoy our products and have fun while collecting!
